Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of uls-tracker (the "Service"), an independent web service for tracking U.S. amateur radio callsign licensing data published by the FCC.

Last updated: 6 September 2026

1. Who we are

The Service is independently operated in Texas under the name Ice Code Studio ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].

2. Accounts

Accounts are created and accessed by emailed magic link — we do not issue or store passwords. You are responsible for the security of the email inbox you sign up with: anyone able to read that inbox can sign in as you. Sign-in links expire 15 minutes after they are issued and can be used once.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. One person or organization per account; do not share credentials or session cookies.

3. Subscriptions and billing

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Note that the underlying FCC ULS records are U.S. government public data and are not ours to restrict. These terms cover the Service and the work we do on top of that data, not the public records themselves.

5. Data accuracy — no warranty

The Service is provided "as is". Availability dates are a model of FCC §97.19, computed from imported ULS records, not a statement of fact from the FCC. Records can be late, incomplete, corrected retroactively, or superseded by FCC action we have no visibility into.

Do not treat anything on this site as legal advice or as a guarantee that a callsign will be available on a given date. Verify against the FCC's own systems before filing a vanity application or making any decision that costs you money or a filing window. We are not liable for a missed slot, a rejected application, a filing fee, or any other loss arising from reliance on our data.

6. Availability of the Service

We aim to keep the Service running continuously and to re-import FCC data each morning, but we do not offer an uptime guarantee or SLA. Maintenance, upstream FCC outages, and file-format changes can interrupt or delay updates.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost opportunities.

8. Termination

There is no self-service way to delete your account yet. Email [email protected] and we will delete it — email address, watchlist, preferences, API keys, and sessions — within 30 days, keeping only the billing records we are required to retain. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will give notice by email where we reasonably can. On termination we delete or anonymize your account data as described in the privacy policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to registered users and reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas.

11. Independence

uls-tracker is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the FCC, the ARRL, AE7Q, or any vanity-application filing service. See about for how the data is sourced.
